About
Annabel's work consists of various original pieces that feature a strong interest in exploring color theory using figurative art. She specializes in painting but uses her experience in drawing and sculpting to produce surrounding themes of light and dark. The subject matter in her work consists of identity, the human experience, and the visual representation of love as light. She is passionate about producing work that is moving for people across various backgrounds. She hopes to achieve this by continuing to produce original art that explores these themes as well as making works that continue to challenge her technical abilities.

About The Artist
Hello and thank you for visiting my website! My name is Annabel and I'm a student, artist, and an overall creative individual. I began making art seriously my freshman year of high school and was pleasantly surprised by my love of developing my skills. In my senior year of High School, I designed a landscape painting for the set of my fall play, The Plot Like Gravy Thickens on a 16 x 8 ft frame on stretched muslin. That year I had also experienced my first exhibition in the Santa Barbara Museum of Art thanks to the Santa Barbara Scholarship Foundation. I moved on to become a Studio Arts major at Santa Barbara City College where I completed my Associates and got hands on experience in welding, woodworking, and producing work I had never thought of making before. Since then I transferred to University of California San Diego where I will get my BA in Visual Arts (Studio). Now, I'm excited to continue producing work at an advanced level and inspire others to pursue their artistic endeavors.
